Measuring behind but no bleeding...

Hi everyone,

I posted last week about going for an early scan and measuring about a week behind with only a gestational sac seen on ultrasound. Obviously I was devastated because I'm really sure of my dates.

I had a miscarriage in February and I was spotting and then bleeding, but this time I'm expecting to miscarry but I've had no bleeding 🤔

Is this normal? If the sac is measuring behind and there was nothing in the sac, why would I not have started miscarrying by now?

Was anyone ever in a similar position? How did it turn out? I just want to know but have to wait another 10 days for a scan 😢

i didn’t get any answers when i was asking something similar with friends and family (and even the person doing my scan!!) so thought id share my story.
it unfortunately did end in miscarriage for me, i saw a heart beat as was further along but after 1 early scan to see if ectopic i measured at 5 weeks 3 days all fine. went back nearly 2 weeks later and was heartbeat etc but only measuring 6 weeks 0 days which was obviously not in line with other scan.
researched loads as you do and have seen everywhere that this can be right(in your case) if you ovulated later than you thought, or if implantation took longer etc etc, there can be loads of reasons!
it’s so hard waiting for the next scan, i really struggled with that it’s the worst wait.
i pray for you that everything works out okay and that my story is not the same as yours!
