i have just found out I’m pregnant. I am roughly 4 weeks it’s came as a bit of a shock I really wasn’t expecting it.
I have started a new job recently, when I work things out I miss SMP entitlement by 1 week. I am absolutely gutted as I really need this enhanced rate over basic maternity allowance to afford to live.
this is my first pregnancy so everything is so new to me, are midwives understanding and can they amend my due date by a week so I can get the entitlement of SMP, worst case could I lie about my dates to push it back a week.
