5 Weeks & No Symptoms

I’m currently 5+2 weeks and apart from a missed period, positive tests and extreme fatigue, I have zero symptoms. No tender breasts, sickness or nausea.

been TTC for over 10yrs and we’ve never got this far so I’m very anxious… trying my best to be calm.

I have had some pale brown when wiping but my best friend is a midwife and she has told me it’s perfectly normal (I did send her a photo 🙈😂)

anyone else have no symptoms at this stage and go on to have a healthy pregnancy

Hey OP. Other than no period and a positive test, I didn’t have any symptoms for the first few months. I’m 38+4 today and still haven’t had the sore or tender boobs throughout. I didn’t start feeling anything until at least 12 weeks I think and even then as I hit 2nd trimester I think everything wore off. 3rd is when everything come at me 🤣 Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and enjoy it x

Thank you so much for your reassuring words. As we’ve been trying so long and never got this far I feel like I’m going to lose the baby and would feel better if I felt more pregnant 🙈 although I know I’m really early still.

congratulations, not long to go for you now xx

This is also my first pregnancy and I’m 39. It’s been a long pregnancy for me as my anxiety has been horrific worrying that something is going to go wrong. I think and hope it’s only natural especially for first time Mums. I haven’t been able to fully enjoy it as I’m constantly worrying. What I will say is don’t be afraid to ask your midwife questions or advice if you have any worries or concerns. I wish I did this sooner and didn’t end up sending myself mad at home worrying about every little thing. They are there to support you on your journey.
I hope you have an amazing pregnancy xx

Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m 35 and exactly the same. Anxiety through the roof. Luckily my best friend is a midwife and has been amazing! Even sent her photos I’d never send to anyone else of my tissues after wiping 🙈😂

I’m thinking of taking my fitness watch off as it’s showing high levels of stress, which is stressing me out even more.

i think I will feel better once I’ve had a scan and can see it’s all as it should be.

thank you so much for taking the time to reply and reassure me. I hope you enjoy the last few weeks of your pregnancy, your baby will be in your arms before you know it xx

Congratulations on your pregnancy :)
I went through almost an entire pregnancy with no symptoms. I only started to really feel pregnant at about 6 months and this wasn’t due to any symptoms but purely due to the size of my bump.

Thank you. That’s reassuring to know others without many symptoms

Hi @DoraBella88 how did you do after this? I'm 5w1d and exactly the same as what you were when you started this thread, no symptoms and so anxious and terrified of losing the baby.

Thank you x

Hi @Runsandbuns. Congratulations on your pregnancy.
unfortunately I miscarried a week later from this post 😢 but I don’t think it had anything to do with how I was feeling when I wrote this post.
I honestly know it’s so easy to say it but try and relax and enjoy this moment. My main pregnancy symptom was tiredness and that was it.

I wish you a happy & healthy 9 months ❤️

I had zero symptoms here ether! Virtually nothing until I reached like 16 weeks and the back pain started. No sickness, no sore boobs, no nausea or food aversions, zilch!

5 weeks is still very early though, so still time, or you maybe one of us lucky ones xxx

Lunamoon23 · 20/11/2024 22:44

Oh god, I'm sorry I've just been your update. I didn't look at the date and assumed this was a post from today. I'm so sorry for your loss 🤍 xxxx

Thank you @Lunamoon23 for your update too, this such an anxious time but reassuring to hear others have had similar and as you said, I'm still very early on 💕
