Low progesterone in pregnancy success stories please!

I have just had a positive pregnancy test this morning which, although a happy moment, is filled with anxiety due to 2 previous miscarriages. My progesterone at 7DPO was 17nmol/l which is extremely low (they were unsure I would actually have ovulated) and I have PCOS. I have been taking 400 per day cyclogest and plan to increase to 800 and see if I can also get progesterone injections prescribed although I know consultants have mixed views on this so may have a battle on my hands.
i have a healthy diet and will focus on foods that support progesterone naturally.
Can anyone give me hope or advice please of anything at all I can do to help the situation? Please no negative posts telling me it’s a hopeless situation. I’m well aware of the challenges but this is where I am and I need hope and positivity. Thank you 🩷

Hello! Congratulations on your positive test. I have a history of miscarriages - no living children and finally I was prescribed progesterone for the loss last year which was immediately too late as I got the blood results back two hours later and it was already too late.

I found out I was pregnant again on Friday, I used one of the pessaries right away, called the clinic and had bloods that afternoon. HCG was 17 (I was 3+6) so I was buckling up for another loss but the progesterone level was high (definitely the pessary) anyway, Sundays result was 48 HCG and I'm being told by the staff that they've seen many a successful pregnancy off these sort of numbers so I'm going to try and remain optimistic despite it being so difficult.

Fingers crossed for you and keep us updated ✨

Thank you for the message lovely and good luck to you too. Fingers crossed for a happy outcome for both of us 🩷
im getting progesterone re checked tomorrow so praying for a better result. I had to push to have it re-done. They haven’t suggested HCG test so for now will be relying on testing every morning to hopefully see line progression xxx

It shows you how different areas are as they always go in with blood tests for me.

I didn't tell them I had the progesterone from last year so five hours before my first blood test Friday I had already started using it. Now I can't be certain what my progesterone would have been without it but last year at 6 weeks was 26 and Friday at 3 weeks 6 days it was 70.1 so I swear the pessary kicked in fast as there's no way I would have been that without it it! I've always believed my issue with all of my miscarriages is progesterone.

Fingers crossed for today for you, please come and let me know x
