Hi All, hoping someone out here could help! I’m Trying to get pregnant at 42 with irregular periods. I already have a boy who is now 15 months old who I conceived naturally after 5 miscarriages. We’ve
not been trying for long but I’m I keep thinking that I may now be too old to conceive plus I’ve had irregular periods all my life and its hard to keep track of my ovulation window. Was wondering if there’s anyone who has been successful with a similar story to mine. Who give me some hope if there was 😊

Hi
not similar I’m mid 30s but have you tried the Mira ovulation tracker? You pee on a stick put jt in the machine and it tells you when to test again or if you’re ovulating so you can get the exact day with daily testing. I was trying for 6 months which I know isn’t long compared to what some people go through but I conceived the first month I used the Mira

Try reading "it starts with the egg" by Rebecca Fett. I followed the plan for PCOS, and it helped me feel like I was taking positive action backed by some research. I was 36/37 at the time of my loss and subsequent conception (35 weeks pregnant with my first baby now) so I was over that dreaded 35 hill and it felt nice to have some hope that there is something you can do to help out your eggs. Good luck 💕

I've no advice but hopefully this will give you hope :-)

41 - have miscarried in the past and was adamant that I was early stages perimenopausal. Also suffered irregular periods most of my life, and was now missing the odd one, so genuinely thought my window was closed. All of a sudden, i'm now i'm 20 weeks pregnant with my first! Huge surprise. She's wriggling around like a lunatic so on track for a healthy baby even though i'm on the slightly higher risk track because of age. So yes, definitely can happen

Good luck!
