15 weeks and bleeding

Has anyone else had bleeding in second trimester and everything's been okay.

Bit of back story.
29th had spotting for about 8 hours went GAU. Had internal cervix was closed. Bit of blood seen nothing alarming. Scan booked for 4th. Had scan baby was fine strong heartbeat measurements were correct. Couldn't find a cause of bleed.
Spotting was off and on through out the week. Right side lower back pain and hip pain. Which I've been getting all week only last a minute or two usually made easier by changing position or walking about abit.
Bleeding started again Bit heavier and more persistent. last night about midnight so 24 hours ago. Phoned GAU said take paracetamol and to phone back if have to change pad every hour.
No clots mainly on bright red on wiping only smears on pad.

How many weeks are you? Sorry to hear you are going through that, so stressful. I'd go get checked, hopefully nothing but better off x

I'm sure you could wait until morning. Also take pictures of the bleeding, always easier to gage how much blood loss there's been then for midwife

I had quite a lot of bleeding during second trimester. It was after sex and it was just irritation of my cervix (I think). Either way everything was ok and it calmed down. Sending good thoughts.

I had a bleed at 16 weeks with my 20 month old, they never knew why

I had some bleeding at 16 weeks. Woke up to some patches on the bedding then some in the loo followed by a few weeks of brown . Was eventually told it was a cervical ectropian and all has been well since

I had bleeding around 13 weeks bright red blood not huge amount but enough. Everything turned out fine I’m now 40 weeks pregnant 😊

I had a bleed at 13+4 - bright red and some small/medium clots too. It was a Friday evening and I had to wait until the Monday for a scan. I'd had 3 losses previously so was primed for the worst. At the scan baby was absolutely fine and they couldn't see any obvious cause of a bleed. They put it as most likely cervical. Never had a reoccurrence and will be 36wks on Monday. Sorry to hear you're going through this! I bled very heavily during my pregnancy, starting at 13 weeks. I didn't realise that women could bleed during pregnancy, I thought that meant miscarriage but thankfully it's not always the case.
I was constantly in and out of hospital as I bled on and off from week 13 to 37 when I was induced because of it. I didn't have spotting, it was bright red and very heavy. Nobody could tell me what was causing it. Baby was born completely healthy.

I hope that reassures you a bit. Hopefully your midwife and doctor will keep a closer eye on you. Hope it settles ❤️
