Where is the cheapest place to get maternity clothes that don't cost an arm and a leg? I'd like to just buy a bulk of like trousers/ jeans and tops etc... but feel everything is pricey!!

Vinted otherwise it is pricey for what you get unfortunately. I wouldn’t buy bulk either you may change sizes and find some styles uncomfortable/don’t fit you well.

i got a few new bits from George (Asda) and new look, they weren’t too bad. Next and H&M ok in the sale.

I hardly bought any maternity items.

2 pairs maternity leggings (bought new) which I lived in.
1 dress which is also nursing friendly
A couple of vests which were also nursing friendly
1 dress for a friend's weddingl

H&M

Ttcagainnow · 07/07/2024 19:43

Thanks all. I'm not planning on buying a lot really but when I saw like £30 for a pair of jeans I thought its going to be pricey! I just want some jeans/ leggings and a few tops.

Vinted and Shein. I’ve got all my stuff from
there. 3 pairs of H&M jeans from Vinted cost me £20 total

Look on eBay.

CMG92 · 07/07/2024 20:13

M&S for leggings and jeggings, George at Asda for all my tops

Wtfmothernature · 07/07/2024 20:25

nearly all my maternity is from the next clearance section

SecondhandTable · 07/07/2024 20:26

Vinted can be good. There's also a great FB group called something like 'Preloved maternity and nursing clothes', I bought some bits off people there in my last pregnancy and it was all excellent condition and cheap.

Otherwise, cheapest new options would be places like New Look, H&M (these two often have maternity bits in sales), Asda, Boohoo, occasionally Next outlet if you're lucky.

I got my maternity leggings from loveleggings which are pretty nice- some denim blue coloured, some black leopardprint abd some black joggers. Aside from that a couple of tops and a dress from asda and the sainsburys sale, and a few bits from vinted. Tried to go for stuff thats breastfeeding friendly too.

Also came to say M&S for jeans and Asda for basic tops, but I’d also suggest asos for leggings - the two pack they do are decent enough for the price and have lasted me for two pregnancies so far.

George at Asda has been great for me.

MixedCouple2 · 08/07/2024 05:34

I wear over sized baggy clothing anyway but I purchased some mat leggings from Frugi - 50% sale! And H&M sale.
Some nursing Tank tops from H&M
Nursing Mat bras from Asda.

That's it as all my other clothes accommodated my bump

SHEIN actually have nice stuff I got a few dresses and a pair of maternity jeans. What ever size you are go a size up though
