We are planning on trying for our 2nd baby and the age gap will be around 30 months, give or take a few months depending how fortunate we are with trying, and am wondering how hard is it transitioning from 1 to 2 , did you find it harder from 0-1 or 1-2?
also how was it physically and mentally with being pregnant with a toddler ? My first time round I was sick every day for 40 weeks and hoping for an easier time next time around.
I already feel mum guilt for our first born as my attention will be divided.
way to early to be even asking but whilst I’m here , we are planning to have an elective c-section second time round, when should I introduce baby to first born? Do I have first born come to hospital? Or do I wait that 24hours and bring new baby home and let them meet at home? I just don’t want her to miss me or feel like new baby is taking mummy away. I’m not even pregnant yet and am overthinking absolutely every detail

It's hard especially if you're sick in pregnancy - I had (and have now I'm pregnant with my 3rd) hyperemesis, it's grim. My husband is practically a single dad at this point I'm bed bound a lot of the day. So make sure you have a good support network if you're likely to get that poorly.

Otherwise my eldest was absolutely not interested in her brother for around the first 4 months. It was like he didn't exist or was a HUGE inconvenience - it shocked me and I wasn't prepared for that!
I breastfed and it meant my eldest bond with her dad is much stronger as he entertained her a lot when he wasn't at work.
I kept my eldest in childcare while I was on maternity leave which let me spend the time with my second born, i think it helped her feel less pushed out. I plan to do the same with this baby as much as funds allow.

It's hard, then they play together and you think "this is amazing," then they try to kill each other and you wonder why you did it at all 😂
