Hello! I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant after 4 miscarriages which have happened in the last 18 months. A chemical at 5 weeks, MMC found at 12 weeks, blighted ovum found at 7 weeks, and a spontaneous miscarriage at 6 weeks. I've been referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic for testing (back in December) but not yet heard. I found out I was pregnant nearly 3 weeks ago & I called the epu and they said that the consultant at the recurrent miscarriage clinic wanted to scan me at 7 weeks & give me progesterone. I picked up my progesterone yesterday and so far taken 3. I'm also taking 150mg of aspirin a day and have been since 3dpo. I've read that progesterone can mask a miscarriage which I'm really worried about as I'd hate to get to a scan and say baby has died it's happened before and it's horrific. We don't know why I am miscarrying as I've only had basic bloods from the gp so not sure what the issue is but I'd love to hear success stories from progesterone (and aspirin?) it's my first time taking both!

Thank you to anyone that responds 🌈

Congratulations! Pregnancy after multiple losses is so anxious isn't it, I had 5 between my babies. Progesterone didn't mask mine, they were similar gestations too so I don't believe it prolonged them either.

I was prescribed oestrogen, progesterone and baby aspirin with my DTs (ivf conceived). I tapered off of oestrogen at 12 weeks, progesterone at 16 weeks and aspirin at some later point, I can’t remember when exactly! From what I can remember my womb lining was too thin which is why I was prescribed it, and I got incredibly bloody lucky as both embryos stuck and they’re now 6 years old.

I am very sorry for your previous losses, and wish you all the very best with this pregnancy.

I had a few miscarriages for unknown reasons after having my daughter with no issues a couple of years previously. I found out I had really low Vitamin D and started taking supplements and went on to have a problem free pregnancy. I will never truly know if this was the reason for the miscarriages (it is a known factor), however I always like to share this with others in the same situation just in case it might help. Good luck

Hi, I'm a FTM with PCOS. 36 weeks now, but while ttc I couldn't ovulate at all on my own. After 3 clomid cycles and 1 Letrozole cycle, I got pregnant and have been on progesterone since the beginning. I have 400mg twice a day and injections until week 22 or so. I just got off it last week. I believe it helps sustain and support the pregnancy. It also gave me amazing skin throughout. I have always had breakouts due to pcos but not a peep during pregnancy.

So sorry for what you are going through. I had 5 losses and then my son last year whilst taking progesterone and vitamin D and by some miracle we are expecting another baby this year! Don’t give up miracles happen.
