Shorten cervix

I had a growth scan yesterday at 28 weeks and they noticed my cervix is short it's only 10mm and now worried I'll have a prem labour they have put me on progesterone tablets has anyone had this and managed to go full term?

I took 800 mg of progesterone till 37 weeks and it was fine.
I would recommend taking them rectally rather than vaginally as this caused me irritation to the cervix which can do more harm than good.

Also quite messy.
The body absorbs them the same way and no different good luck :))
