Cyclogest irritation

I’m currently on cyclogest twice a day - I’m 6+3 (so have a long time of using them yet) but feel SO irritated. I am using them rectally but still am experiencing some burning and irritation.
I take a daily probiotic but it almost feels like the start of a UTI. Has anyone else experienced similar feelings?
Ive had sepsis in my two prior pregnancies, stemming from UTIs and sadly this resulted in a previous loss.
I am consultant led due to the serious complications I’ve had previously - I’m due to see consultant Thursday but wondering whether I should get checked by GP before then. I fully appreciate I am highly anxious so could be completely overthinking!

My advice was going to be to use them rectally but I see you already are. I sympathise, I react badly to cyclogest vaginally (hence using them the other way!) and last time it literally felt like someone had set my vagina on fire. Only other thing I can think is to see if you could try utrogestan instead? I've used those before without the awful burning sensation. I think they are lower dose though so may need more. Or Lubion injections, though they are expensive (I think about £10 per jab).

Do you have a contact number for nurses or similar via the consultant? I'd call if you're at all worried, if only to set your mind at rest. In the mean time will a cool damp flannel soothe at all?
