Hi ladies!
Any recommendations of what you done to relief your sickness?
im just over 6 weeks and suffering quite a bit with the nausea all day. Especially when I wake up
I’m currently working full time, 9 hours a shift, on my feet with customers all day!!
is it worth asking the gp for anti sickness tablets?
any natural remedies you tried?
how much time did you take off work for the nausea?

I had hyperemesis in both my pregnancies. I was given medication which helped reduce the amount I was sick, but I still felt very sick all the time. No natural remedies worked for me, and I tried everything. If you're being sick all the time then you need to speak to your GP, the medication can help stop you being sick.

Definitely go to the doctor, as soon as you can. I had HG in both pregnancies, no tablets in the first because I didn't realise it could actually be helped, but with my second I asked for tablets pretty much straight away and thankfully had a good OB who had a wife who had HG so willingly prescribed.

Ginger biscuits

Smelling baby soap

Staying hydrated

Eating whatever took my fancy just to get something in my tummy

Have you told work you're pregnant? If so, talk to your manager about extra breaks / ways they can help you to manage while you feel this way
