Back pains and tightings at the top of my tummy coming on every 3/4 mins lasting 40 seconds to a minute .... More uncomfy than pain. Is this early labour or something else? 🤔

How far along are you? Could be early labour, could be Braxton hicks or somthing else. I'd go and get checked out and see what they say x

What at midnight 😧

As far as I'm aware the hospital is open 24/7 😅

TheShellBeach · 01/07/2024 00:10

It sounds like it.
How many weeks are you?

The hospital will be open!

DampDust · 01/07/2024 00:14

I know it will, but I just thought a bit pointless in such early stages - give them a ring maybe?

3soon2be4 · 01/07/2024 00:14

I'm 29 weeks so I'm worried 🙈

It's better to be safe than sorry so ring up or turn up and they will check you over,

Try not to worry, aches and pains are quite normal at this stage of pregnancy but I'd still go get checked just to make sure x

Ring triage immediately.
You shouldn't be having contractions at this stage.

It's not pointless.
They'll certainly want to see someone in premature labour.

DampDust · 01/07/2024 00:33

IME they tell you to go away and come back when they are much stronger

DampDust · 01/07/2024 00:34

Just seen you are 29 weeks. Yes of course go in. Good luck

Not at 29 weeks! That's much too early.

They'll try to stop the labour.

TheShellBeach · 01/07/2024 06:02

How are you, OP?
