Hi! This is my first time on here, I really just need some advice as I am driving myself crazy.

I’m sure there is a second line but why is it thinner than the control line? Could this be an indent? The picture doesn’t show well but it is pink and it came up within the time frame of 5 mins.

What's the background to this? Are you having a regular period, do you have any underlying health conditions? Are you trying for a baby? Do you track your cycles?

Devilsmommy · 30/06/2024 09:50

If I thought I could be pregnant and missed a period then id be seeing that as a positive. Get yourself another test to be sure 😊

Loz98 · 30/06/2024 09:56

@USaYwHatNow My periods this year range anywhere from 28 - 35, last year they were all over the place with 20 - 40.
I have been ttc for over 2 years. I’m in the process of being referred for infertility.

@Devilsmommy Thank you, my flo app says to take a test today so I did, could this still be positive with such a thin line?

@Loz98 my line on my test was just like that and I now have a 21mo DS. Get another test and I really hope you get the results you want 🤞

Loz98 · 30/06/2024 10:02

@Devilsmommy Thank you so much! I will get myself another test today

Make sure you get an early detection test as they're more sensitive. I think the one you've bought is a 25 miu/ml test, but the early detection ones are 10 miu/ml. Boots sell an own brand one that I've found good.

Loz98 · 30/06/2024 10:16

@Welshcake15 Brilliant, thank you so much, i’ll pop to boots and find it! Is there any point in buying a clear blue also?

Definitely positive although I'd buy another test to be sure. I wouldn't go with clearblue as the blue dye can be less reliable, but you could get a clearblue digital and I reckon it would show on there x

IWillBeWaxingAnOwl · 30/06/2024 10:31

Id go for a First Response Early Result (FRER) - they have the best sensitivity (6miu/ml). Pee in a cup after not peeing for a few hours and dip per instructions.

Clear blue digital are a scam - they literally just have the strip inside then a little readout with battery. They are no more trustworthy than a strip test and have a higher threshold than FRER (eg less sensitive)

Good luck xo

Showed like that for mine and I was really unsure

DD is now 5!

all the best

It could be positive but perhaps you are testing early as your cycles seem to be irregular. I agree get early detection ones and keep testing. Good luck!

Loz98 · 30/06/2024 10:57

@Olika Thank you! I’ll keep you guys updated

Hi all. I'm currently 13 dpo. I've been getting very faint lines on wondfo tests since about 10dpo but haven't seen any progression. I had what seemed to be implantation bleeding yesterday so i went to get the boots early test. A test line appeared straight away while the test was drying but it had no colour, was just white. After 5 minutes it was a very faint pink line. Its so faint its not showing up on camera. Has anyone experienced this with the boots tests? I'm assuming if i am pregnant it's just there's not enough hcg yet. It's so hard not to be discouraged 😔
