HLHS - anyone know anything?

Can anyone help me to help a couple here in Singapore who have been told from a scan that their baby has hypoplastic left heart syndrome? They are very frightened and worried about what they should do and what the chances are etc - and I told them how helpful Mumsnet can be and said I'd ask. Anyone? (I'll also ask on the Pregnancy topic). Thank you.

Sonya - another useful site is little hearts matter .

I'm mum to a duaghter with heart problems but not HLHS and not diagnosed in pg so not able to offer help in that respect. I have just seen a post here on the baby centre special needs board from a mum in the exact same position, perhaps you could post there too.

For medical information. www.emedicine.com is useful, accurate and up to date.

My son was born on 04.05.06 with HLHS and we didnt know his condition.I would like to talk to someone about that.He is now 3 months and waiting for second operacion.I would be glad if someone send any respond back.
