Hi girls
I’m 17 weeks pregnant and can’t go to triage until 18 weeks for checks, but the past few weeks I’ve noticed large blobs of snot like mucus discharge which when I google resembles mucus plug but doesn’t have any blood in it. I called triage and explained and they said it sounds fine, but sent me for a swab for a check for infections but before I did the swab I wiped and had some discharge with brown in it and slight cramping. I mentioned to the midwife and she said this is normal, but I can’t help but feel like soemthing is wrong.
Has anyone experienced anything similar? I haven’t really felt baby move yet had a few twinges but not sure if it’s her or not to be honest. Not sure if I should go to a&e (midwife said any concerns to go there) and just get checked to give peace of mind but also don’t wanna waste any time.
Any advice would be great.
