B6 for nausea??

For the past couple of weeks I’ve had quite bad nausea, to the point where I’ve noticed I’m starting to avoid eating and drinking hoping it’ll help (it doesn’t really).

Ive read online some women have taken B6 or B-complex and it’s helped with morning sickness for some and nausea for others. Anyone have any experience with it? If so, how long did it take to kick in?

Obviously a lot of women have it much worse, but it’s all day everyday and with it putting me off my food my energy levels are so low.

Any advice appreciated!!

I took B6 (in the form of P5P as its easier absorbed) and B12 during my 2nd pregnancy. Wasn't sure if it helped until I ran out at 10 weeks. After 2 days of not taking either I was being sick every couple of hours. Starting taking it again and symptoms eased off the same day.

So for me it definitely helped.

i think there is more evidence for it than most other treatments so definitely worth a go

Not yet, I've had cyclizine (?) in a different pregnancy but it made me worse. Suffering very badly this time

OhLookAnotherDay do you mind me asking what dose of the P5P you took that helped with your pregnancy sickness? Thanks 😊

B complex might be better. After a few years I found out I was b12 deficient and I wondered if it was linked to morning sickness

It was 50mg. Though sometimes I took half a tablet both morning and afternoon.

This one to be precise
