Negative in the afternoon after pretty clear positive in the morning?

Hi all, I took a test this morning and was very surprised that I was positive, I fairly clear line. However, today I’ve done three more tests and they’ve all been negative. When I was pregnant with my little boy, I always got a line, even if I tested in the afternoon, and the early digital came up quickly. Is it possible that such a decent line this morning could become non existent by the afternoon? Tmi but I held my urine and it was really dark when I did the afternoon tests but they were still negative. The clear blue is an early detection one, not the dates one.

Not sure how to feel as it’s not a planned pregnancy but now I just feel in limbo wondering whether I am or not.

Thanks all

I think it's likely you are pregnant if you had that faint line in the morning.

It may be that you're very early on and so the levels needed for the test to positive are on just there. I suspect if you test again for the next few mornings the line will be there (and getting darker).

How many dpo are you?

No idea unfortunately, I wasn’t tracking as it’s a surprise pregnancy (if it is one), I have pcos and have long cycles usually but this time my last period was 25th May so likely early days maybe?

Thank you, I will leave a few days and test again.

You're about five weeks by dates, so you should have a very obvious line at this stage.

But if you have PCOS those dates won't necessarily be accurate.

Yeah I don’t think I can work out dates from my period tbh as with my son I ovulated on like cycle day 22. So I guess I will just have to wait and see.
