Pre-eclampsia

Hiya all, went to my midwife appointment yesterday. Blood pressure and everything was absolutely fine. They was just a very large amount of protein in my wee is this the start of pre-eclampsia?

Hey OP. Was it a full sample? I had a large amount in mine last week but I barely filled my 1/4 of the way. I had to redo one and fill half way and it come back only a trace. Apparently a small amount shows a lot of protein that’s why I ask

Hi OP I just gave birth and had preeclampsia at the very end from 37 weeks , they look for 2 out of 3 symptoms as far as I understand it

High blood pressure
Protein in urine (over 30 is preeclampsia mine was over 170)
Pitting edema

I had all 3 and as a result they induced me at 38 weeks but I was fine I did t feel sick or any symptoms but because of the risks baby had to come early.
