Hi everyone, I recently took a pregnancy test - Accu News one and I saw a faint line appear within the 5 minute window. I then retook another one later on that day and again this morning (First pee of the day) and still getting the same result. I am 12DPO. Could someone please advise or help determine whether I am seeing a faint line or if i'm going crazy 🤣 I do not know whether it is a faint positive 🤞🏻 or an evaporation line. I would love to become pregnant so dont want to get my hopes up

If they were my tests I'd consider myself not pregnant.
Perhaps wait another week and test, good luck.

A lot of positives show faint early on, I can definitely see the lines. Keep testing daily see if they get darker. Good luck!! X

I would say yes! Just very early on so hopefully the lines will darken over the next week or so 🤞🏻

Would you really @TomatoSandwiches? I think those are pretty reasonable positives on those cheapie tests for 12dpo...and I have taken a fair few! Obvs it is too early to know if it will stick, OP, but your HCG should double every 48/72 hours so I'd be doing another Friday. No need to wait a week. 🤞🏻 for you.

I can see a very faint line. Try testing in a couple of days (and good luck!)

A midwife told me that any line means your pregnant - although you will want to see the line get darker over the next few days. A weak line can be a sign that there was fertilisation but something isn't right with the pregnancy hence why you aren't producing much hcg. Of course you could be getting a positive hcg reading for other reasons so worth getting it checked out if you're not expecting a pregnancy

Yes none of my positive tests ever looked like this, they look like my evap lines.
I hope I'm wrong for ops sake but I can only say by my own experience can't I.

RinklyRomaine · 26/06/2024 15:48

Of course @TomatoSandwiches. I guess I've never had an evap over dozens of tests then, as my positives always started that way 🤷🏻‍♀️

maw1681 · 26/06/2024 16:05

Mine looked like this before my period was due, hopefully they get darker over the next few days!

Olika · 26/06/2024 16:13

I would think they are positive

Lackinginspiration1 · 26/06/2024 16:27

I make these sorts of tests - it’s definitely a positive, although of course early! Good luck op

Beginningless · 26/06/2024 16:50

I’d say they are positive, just test again in a few days to be sure.
