Glucose Test Result Help

On a two hour glucose GTT test does anyone know how many results (out of the three blood tests taken) need to be abnormal for a gestational diabetes diagnosis?

I had two blood samples taken and they compared the first one with the second one - how your body handled the sugary drink you get in between.

Where I attend if just one result is elevated then you're diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Not sure if it's the same everywhere

You can be diagnosed on the first test (your Fasting sugar) or the second test (post glucose sugar)

one needs to be too high for diagnosis. just one

Just one. I failed on the pre drink test (the fasting result) and passed the post drink test.

A fairly similar pattern since with my bloods.

Yep, just the one! I just got diagnosed based on the second one.

Have a look at gestationaldiabetes.co.uk - it’s an amazing website and in the few days since my diagnosis has become my bible!
