Hi,

Am due in late July, and had made contact with a doula who had been recommended to me, but am now having huge problems getting hold of her for a preliminary meeting, so think I had better quickly start looking for someone else.

Does anyone have any personal recommendations/experience?... I have looked on the doula website but would love any inside info that was just a bit more than a list of names..I am still a little foggy about how it all works with a doula, but am pretty sure I will need help both before and a bit after since this is my first and I am scarily clueless of almost everything to do with babies...

Any help very gratefully received.
