So been for a growth scan today 27 +6 told the consultant that baby movements has changed last to days and not sure if it’s hot they told me keep an eye on it if movement changes go get checked….

my issue is I was there had a scan everything fine baby moving on scan witch I couldn’t feel and I had already said movements had changed

my question is how long do I wait before getting checked do I see tonight if her movement picks up or do I go sooner or longer

any advice would help

If you ever have concerns about movement I’d get checked out. Doesn’t matter how often you need to ask. Better to be on the safe side if you feel things are different.

This is what I was saying to my consultant I was like the movements are different so should I go over now and she was like no see how you go. Husband felt reassured because of scan and movement but I was just really unsure..
if they haven’t picked up buy normal time today I’ll be going back today x

You are the one in your body and need to go by your instincts. All is probably well but it does monitoring. If you need to go every day then so be it. Don’t be fobbed off or advised to wait if your instincts are telling you to get monitored or scanned. You need reassurance. You’re doing the right thing .

Just checking into to see if your OK and you've felt baby move?

Is this your first pregnancy? I definitely didn't feel movements as much with my first as I do now with my second.. strange I know! Some little tips I picked up is have something to eat/drink and give it a half hour - babys love food 🤣, going for a bath, changing your position and chatting to baby and rubbing your tummy. I'm sure your already doing all of these but hopefully I've mentioned something for you to try x

Hi, i was in an out of hospital every other day for reduced movements. The midwives always told me that any concern regarding movements, I should make my way to the hospital without delay, even if it meant going to the hospital twice in one day. A midwife had told me off for waiting more than 2 hours at home to see if my baby’s movements had picked up. As a result of reduced movements and restricted growth, I had scans every other week! My advice is to go triage if you have any concerns at all. I know many women are told to drink something cold or to lay on the side to feel the baby move - my baby would always kick if I had an orange ice lolly but from my personal experience it’s best to go to the hospital and be put on the monitor.

Really glad all’s ok. Hope she settles into a regular movement routine for the rest of the pregnancy . You are doing the right thing to go in any time you notice anything different.
