I've got this wierd pain which comes and goes. it's in the middle of my tummy. I'm 19 weeks. Not too sure if related to baby, contispation or stitch?

Anyone had any similar problems? Don't know whether to go dr or not?

Could be indigestion?

I get weird tummy pains (am 25 weeks) if I've eaten a lot. Just not sure there is enough room in there for both baby and all my food!!!

But if you are worried and it doesn't go away then I would speak to docs.

Watching, is it like a stabbing pain in the area of your belly button? I get that sometimes and did first time round too - weird and very uncomfortable kind of indigestion I think. Sometimes it takes your breath away and you don't even want to move. Try our old friend Gaviscon, and try doing a few deep breaths in through nose and signing out through open mouth - that sometimes relaxes the muscles a bit and takes the pain away. If you are at all worried, go to doc, of course.

It could even be that you've pulled a muscle in your bump, it's easy to do, I pulled one late in pregnancy at the side of my bump and it scared the pants off me, it was exactly like a stitch. As with everything pg related though, if you're worried or it continues and is painful, ask your mw.

thanks for the advise. I think it is indegestian related. I'm also constantly hungry too but sometimes I feel too bloated to eat anything!

I'm going to keep on eating prunes as they seem to work!

I am 25 weeks and I get these stich-like pains several times a week. It's really sore and lasts a long time. I have noticed that it often starts when I am stressed and a bit too active. I had them also for my previous pregnancy so I know it's not serious but would love to know what it is.
