Pregnant after etopic and pain on right side

Hello everyone,
Three days ago I've found out that I am pregnant. I am thinking I am around 3+6 weeks. A year ago I've had etopic pregnancy with removal of my left tube.
Since I've found out that I am pregnant I am having pain, which comes and goes on the right side that radiating to my hip, groin, back, bottom and leg. I am so anxious that could be another etopic pregnancy. I have early scan on Thursday.
Did any of you experience that kind of pain?

Congratulations on your new pregnancy!

I had one sided pain when I was pregnant again after an ectopic. It wasn't another ectopic, I never discovered what it was but thought it could be a corpus luteum from what reading I did (basically a cyst that forms on your ovary to help produce progesterone until around week 12).

Hi @violetposie
Thank you so much for your reply! After first etopic it's hard to not worrying about another one. Hopefully scan will fully ease my worries.
Thanks again!!

Absolutely! I've never been more nervous than the early scan with my second pregnancy. It was in the same scan room where the ectopic was found too. I hope it all goes well for you! X

Having had 2MC and a ruptured ectopic between my two kids your post takes me right back. Every cramp, twinge, pain is so noticeable with the pregnancy after ectopic. I felt in a super heightened space. And when I felt nothing I worried too.

So hard to relax but maybe try something that usually helps, meditation or meet with friend, talk to someone to off load of you can.

And if you get really worried/worsening pain or new symptoms occur, don't hesitate to get checked out sooner. Most health care professionals, especially with your history, should be so understanding.💐

I also experienced pain and discomfort second time round but it was in the right place. Ectopic pregnancy trust forums are full of these concerns and more often than not all is ok!

i started logging when and where the pain was which was reassuring as it did move around.

Wishing you the best for your scan x

Thank you so much for all your kind responses! 🤗
Hopefully everything will be ok on the scan and they will be able to rule out etopic pregnancy.
I will try to relax until then and not to think about it - I am doing daily walks to help me with the stress :)
