I have had some intense stressful moments during my pregnancy and my diet hasn't been great either, I am worried of what affect this has on the baby as I wasn't aware to begin with. I am just over 4 months along. My brother has schizophrenia and I am worried about genetics and I guess I need some reassurance.

We lost my mum when my sister was 6 weeks pregnant. had a really stressful time as you can imagine. baby was fine and now 9 years old and happy.

My pregnancy itself was really stressful but baby was super healthy when she arrived. still is healthy as a horse

I was very anxious during pregnancy due to prior infertility and loss. My diet was terrible the first few months as could not tolerate much due to morning sickness. My 2yo DD is perfect and no known health issues, she’s tall, active and so far has met all milestones. Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

A family member was extremely ill in hospital for about 4 months and I visited them every day, along with working. My colleagues were worried about me I looked so ill myself but baby is fine, now a healthy, active, intelligent child

My mil's father was murdered when she was pregnant with one of dh's siblings. Sibling is confident, happy and doing brillantly in their chosen field.

My dad died when I was 6 months pregnant with dc2. Prior to that I was juggling studying, pregnancy, supporting both parents, dad with his illness and my mum coming to terms with it as well as having psychotherapy for trauma related reasons. Dc2 is so far absolutely fine too, excelling at school, sporty and happy. My diet was rubbish due to stress and morning sickness but she was still just shy of 8 pounds.

I was in a 8 month long house purchase chain that fell through twice whilst pregnant. The stress that brought on whilst pregnant was immense. I also lived off big macs as I couldn't stomach anything else.

My little girl is happy, healthy, beautiful and clever!

Oh also this was a pregnancy after loss too so I was insanely anxious throughout because of that as welll!

You're baby will be perfect I'm sure 🩷

Yes! I was having panic attacks throughout my first trimester, working 12 hour days and had really severe pregnancy sickness. I was so worried that my stress would affect the baby.

he was born healthy, average sized, very sunny little baby. He is now a content little boy with no apparent anxiety or any health concerns.

good outcomes defo likely!

I had a surprise baby at 40. Just started a new career that I had to put on hold. Was told at every appt my cervix was too short and baby would likely come early so I was constantly stressed and scared. Until I was able to get genetic testing results I worried the child would be plagued with health issues due to my age. Was more tired than I've ever been in my life and an absolute screaming beast to poor dh until the second tri. Currently have a beautiful healthy 6m dd(in addition to 5yr ds), that couldn't be more perfect. Carried to term and not a single health issue. I also did my fair share of eating junk, just made sure I kept up drinking water and taking prenatals
