Hi I'm just wondering if anyone has been put on progesterone without any bleeding?

I'm currently 7 weeks 3 days, I've had 2 miscarriages in the last year. Just wondering if anyone has been put on it who is in the same position as me

I have - I asked the EPU for it as I’ve had a MMC and CP in the space of 5 months. They said I don’t really need it but left it up to me so I am taking it. They had to confirm viable pregnancy with scan first at 6 weeks which luckily has shown healthy growing babe and a heartbeat. The first consultant refused to put me on it because I have no bleeding but I asked for a second opinion and it was approved. The Dr who approved it is head of the RPL clinic so I feel good about taking it.

I had to have progesterone for the first 10 weeks for both my pregnancies due to low levels. It’s to support the pregnancy until 10/12 weeks then you should be ok.

2nd pregnancy was like a tampon but first I had to get DH to inject into my butt every day. That was pretty horrible.

It’s not uncommon. Try not to get anxious about it. I had issues getting pregnant due to polycystic ovaries and a short luteal phase. My progesterone was really low. I had a tiny bit of brown spotting, no blood.

They should test your progesterone and if it is below the norm, give you progesterone.
