I know this is totally personalised but just nosey!

Mentally I’ve found pregnancy really tough throughout but physically was feeling fab (running round in my heels, on/off the tube etc etc) until last week at 32 weeks when I suddenly felt absolutely huge and massively uncomfortable! Struggling to get through the day without a nap now and am watching too much tv!

what was the ‘turning’ point for you?

I think it was about 32 weeks for me too. I started feeling like I was slowing down, exhausted a lot quicker, and after work I was in physical pain with my pelvis and lower back. It would still settle soon enough with some rest but was surely a turning point. I'd been flying around until then. I'm 36 weeks now and not fit for much😂 Counting myself very lucky to have gotten so far without a bother

About 36 weeks. I think. Had to do a manoeuvre to get out of bed, which involved sliding, rolling and swinging legs and a sort of side push up? Did do an good penguin waddle for the last two!

34 weeks with DC1
30 weeks with DC2
20 weeks with DC3. I had SPD and spent the last few weeks groaning and crying in pain. It hurt to do anything and no position was comfortable. And then the little bugger decided to cook for an extra week!

PGP since week 15 so just pure misery since then.

WhyamInotvomiting · 21/06/2024 22:23

The whole way through every time for various different reasons sadly.

34 weeks is when it went slowly downhill for me. That's when I felt I couldn't walk as far, get up off the floor as easily, carry my 3yo DS etc. Now 38 weeks and feel like an actual whale- I can barely move

First pregnancy I was great the whole way through. Second pregnancy I found the first trimester harder, second trimester great and then started feeling really crap and weak around 32-34 weeks but I started taking a higher dose of iron tablets and perked up again towards the end.

I went all the way to 42 weeks both pregnancies, people would always being giving me so much sympathy and saying how awful it must be but honestly those extra 2 weeks were totally fine both times.

4 weeks - mad heartburn and morning sickness until the day of labour! It finished the moment I popped the baby out. I also worked in the office until 2 weeks before the due date. It was so hard to conduct meetings with the morning sickness always threatening to rear its head or on a crowded train journey in. That was my only pregnancy due to this experience. I shudder just thinking about it!

Chasingthewilddeer · 21/06/2024 22:37

About 5 weeks - hyperemesis with every one

bringmorewashing · 22/06/2024 11:45

I had terrible pregnancy sickness from 6-13 weeks and then was very weak and anaemic for a while. I struggled to get through the day without a nap for months. So I was expecting to feel crap for some reason or another the whole way through...

Fingers crossed, but I'm now 26 weeks and feel absolutely fine. No problems to speak of. Definitely not "glowing", but fine! I'm planning to work until 34 weeks or maybe a little longer, depending on how I'm feeling by then.

Same. Bit earlier with the third.

PitterPatter3 · 23/06/2024 21:51

Honestly, from about 24 weeks I started to really notice the extra weight I was carrying round. Just going up and down stairs started to feel like an effort.

Muffin101 · 23/06/2024 21:53

Honestly I never did, I felt fucking great right the way through physically… before I sound too smug though, I was throwing up constantly every single day the entire time, so there’s that 😂
