Am 27 wks pg with dc2. Up until about 3 weeks ago I was suffering from hyperemesis, when it felt like I had two stomachs. One saying "Eat, goddamnit!" and another saying "Don't you dare, I'll just throw it back up if you so much as sniff that pie"

But now the "Eat, goddamnit!" stomach is the only one I can hear but it doesn't know what it wants Nothing I gobble down is right! It's not so much a hunger thing I don't think, more of a satisfaction thing for my tastebuds and tummy. So if I'm physically full up, of say a nice egg salad sarnie like this lunch time (3 pieces of bread 2 eggs cucumber tomato mayo) then an apple and a satsuma, all of which was lovely- why is my mouth still wanting something else? And what could I possibly give it? (apart from the raw beef mince that I'm craving but not giving in to!) I don't want to wolf down everything in sight to try and find something that the monster within wants because from experience when pg with ds and also earlier in this pregnancy, if I'm overfull I'll just throw up and it won't stop once my tum is empty.

Oh woe is me, anyone else like this? Beholden to an indecisive stomach creature?

Ooops I'm obviously technologically incompetent too, posted this twice! Sorry.

I only wanted to eat what other people suggested
I'd sit there going 'do I fancy a banana? a piece of cake? a hot cross bun? leftover curry?'

then dh would say 'I'm just having a yoghurt, would you like one?' and I'd virtually rip his arm off to get at it

MrsBadger I am exactly the same! I'm only 18 weeks, but since day 1 I have been the most suggestable person in the world food-wise! One of my colleagues actually gave me her apple the other day because she felt so sorry for me once she suggested it and I couldn't stop talking about apples.

MrsB when I saw "...banana? a piece..." in your post I read it as "banoffee pie" and now that's what I'm thinking of making...

Have you tried chocolate? I find it's the answer to everything.
