Is anyone else in their 2 WW? Currently on cycle 2 trying for #2.

@Lidlisthebusiness I'm using Premom this time. When I conceived my first baby I was using natural cycles (as contraception 😂)

I like the tracking apps but also find the basic one in the free Apple heath app good

I am a little confused as I am on DPO 14 today. No signs on AF and I have never been late before. I definitely ovulated as I had a static smile face on clear blue 14 days ago and also on a cheapie OPK. Any advice? Should I wait until tomorrow to test? I did just do a OPK which came back negative 🤔

@Welshy2024 I would do a pregnancy test!

I've not heard of using LH tests to detect pregnancy

@Welshy2024 hoping and praying it’s good news if you do test.
FMU will give you the most accurate result but depends on how long you can hold etc.
no way I’d ever be able to hold for 4hs plus.

@fullofhope2024 is it meant to be 4 hours for a test? My fmu isn't even a 4 hour hold because I go in the night when the baby wakes to feed 🤦🏼‍♀️

Not that it has mattered for me so far as the tests are always negative.

Can you tell I'm grumpy today 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

Out of curiosity Just wondering which tests you girls use? I don’t want to spend a fortune when so far only getting not the result I hope for

I used the cheapest ones Tesco had to offer, then a Clear Blue digital. I think it used to be Superdrug that had the most sensitive ones.

Caved and did a test lastnight before bed, only got a BFP! Literally couldn't believe my eyes. I had no symptoms and was 99% sure I was out this month. 2 x FR and a clearblue all positive. For anyone reading this, you are not out until AF shows! @km9371 how many dpo are you now? Thanks for the support all, feeling grateful 🙏

I'm 11 dpo now, another negative test today I really shouldn't check 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

@fullofhope2024 I'm alright just feel like I live in a cycle of waiting to get pregnant, convincing myself I am then being really disappointed I'm not 🤦🏼‍♀️

Had 3 negatives tests, but I have so many symptoms: really tender, swollen boobs, feeling sicky off and on, lower back pain, super thirsty, hormonal, crying over nothing when I'm never like that, increased mucus (hate that word), shattered all the time, tiny bit crampy but no sign of my period and its due. My age is massively against me and we've been trying for a few months. Am I reading too much into it?

Normally my period passes without much incident, its been light and short so wondering if I'm hitting perimenopause 🤔

Hi @notsurewftisgoingon I’d keep testing if af is truly late as until that shows anyone is in with a chance.
I find I get lots of symptoms before my time of the month that since starting trying to conceive 5 months ago I’ve come to realise that it’s a very fine line between PMS and early pregnancy symptoms.
seeing GP to have blood test done of hormone levels may give you an idea as to how things are.

13 dpo and negative test this am. Making my peace with it not being our month and maybe a sign we will be on holiday when I next ovulate.

Just wanted to ask if anyone a similar age (over 35) which prenatals you take when ttc?
proceive max has made my cycles shorter and shorter each month. Should I go back to simple Pregnacare or seven seas? Any advice welcome

may try to dtd every other day throughout fertile week rather than cram three days together?

@fullofhope2024 I'm 41, and though this one wasn't planned, when I have done, I've only taken the basic Pregnacare. I've just bought some today for this preganancy, and I also take 5mg folic acid because I'm diabetic.

I know it's a rollercoaster time in these periods of TTC, but having now spent a considerable amount of my adult life in one stage of it or another, my best advice is to try and relax about it all. Don't make it the main focus, as all encompassing as it can be, pressurising yourself and your partner, even subconsciously, to dtd to a schedule can lead to resentment for one or the other in the end, and stress can effect your chances of conceiving. It's meant to a fun time, and God do I know how it feels to not see those 2 lines each month!

If for some reason this isn't your month, who knows, being on holiday, relaxed and just enjoying yourself may well be exactly what you need 🙂

I think I’ll take your advice and try my best to relax over the summer, gives dh a break from me timing and scheduling things.

part of me is hoping there may not be enough hcg in system yet as at due in 2 days but I think it’s wishful hoping, we shall see. Thanks again for all you support
