Hello, I'm currently 9 weeks pregnant with my first pregnancy and my bump is huge and I'm convinced I'm having twins.
It's taken years to get pregnant and I used clomid which has a high rate of twins.
My bump seems to be bigger every week even my Husband said other day I have a bump. My boobs have gone up 2 cup sizes already and are so so sore. I get pain on both left and right sides and bad back pain. My stomach has never ever been this big. I feel huge already. Has anyone else had a bump this big at 9 weeks and had twins? Scared how bigger I am going to grt when I'm actually eating way less due to nausea and sickness. I also took my pregnancy test a week before my period and it came up straight away and clear blue line.

I've got
Twins. Didn't show until 18 weeks. I'm fat.

That's not a bump.

Also in agreement that's not a bump.

I too have twins and my bump was smaller than my singleton pregnancy.

I have twins, and I wouldn’t discount it at all. When’s your scan? Another 2-3 weeks I guess.

I will also say that I looked overdue at 30 weeks and was “enormous” by the end. (37 weeks). But my tummy went back to normal fairly quickly.

Whether it’s one or two, have a happy and healthy pregnancy.

You need to clean the room you're in

TruthorDie · 17/06/2024 18:10

I had twins but zero bump at that point. Didn’t show until about 17-18 weeks. Got married at 20 weeks and wine waiter could not tell l was pregnant 🤣

It’s most likely bloating rather than a baby bump

Flora0112 · 17/06/2024 18:32

Thanks everyone. It's only this week its happened so hopefully just bloat
I've been on a lot of medication to get pregnant and stay oregnant so that doesn't help and was told had 1 in 10 chance of multiples so I think always assumed it's two.

In terms of the room. Apologies its a mess. We're currently moved into a new house and it's having a whole renovation downstairs, new kitchen, floors gas pipes etc so upstairs is now our makeshift kitchen and that box room photo taken in has got lots of unopened crap and just dumping ground atm. It will be clean soon.

Please don’t apologise or explain yourself for your room not being to other people’s standards. It has absolutely F all to do with anyone else. You didn’t ask for people’s opinions on cleaning 🙈. @monicagellerbing.. do better, work on yourself and stop being so judgemental.

Good luck in your pregnancy journey @Flora0112 ☺️

I am 9 weeks too and have such a big “bump” but have gained no weight. I feel like it must just be bloating as nothing big enough to make a bump yet! Are you waiting for your 12 week scan? I have already had an early placement scan due to previous history so I know it’s not twins. It would be exciting if you have twins though! Would you be happy with twins? :)

Flora0112 · 17/06/2024 23:01

Oh congrats!! I haven't gained any weight either and can barely eat more than one meal a day so hopefully just bloat.

Yes hopefully have it after July 6th they said. I was hoping for an early one as my consultant said 7 weeks but then said current wait list just stick to 12 weeks.

Yeah we'd be happy witj twins as we knew yhe risks anyway with taking clomid and means don't have to do pregnancy and treatment again. It's been rough 🙈

I got huge very quickly with identical twins. I hadn't shown until really late with my others. Unfortunately only one survived the second trimester.

DD was pregnant with fraternal twins and, being skinny, showed at her wedding at nine weeks, so yes you can be big early with twins although they are tiny.
