Hi all, I’m 14 weeks pregnant with twins - donor conception (after 10 attempts!) and I’m single. My scary executive coach who had two IVF children has asked me about my Plan and I suddenly realised that my plan, especially after so much heartache TTC (and then discovering I was having triplets and going through the extra heartache of having a reduction), was getting through every week and not hoping for more.

I was too scared to ask what should be on my Plan but she started me off with a night nanny from day 1. I didn’t even know these existed and now I think maybe my plan really should be a Plan.

Tips hugely appreciated since I’m clearly clueless!

Firstly congratulations! I think you need to see what your babies are like first as all are different. You may not need or want a night nanny and if you are UK I hope you are prepared for the cost if that’s what you want! I don’t really think a plan is necessary..it’s pretty much just get on with it!

Congratulations!
I'd definitely plan for some help. maybe a postpartum doula would be a good option? Usually they will do whatever you need in terms of support and also help you learn skills to take care of babies. I don't know that you'll necessarily want night help only, maybe having a night nanny once a week to catch up on sleep would be good with an option to add more.
Outsourcing other stuff like setting up groceries deliveries, prepped or frozen meals etc in advance will also help.

Thanks so much both :)

Any other tips gratefully received x
