Twins on scan?

Hiya
I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks at my EPU because of cramping and spotting & suspected ectopic. Scan pic attached, the ultrasound only lasted a few minutes the tech pointed out baby and it’s heartbeat then checked ovaries too and that was that. I got this pic and I’m pretty sure I can see a second baby/ ‘diamond ring’ which they say they look for early on, up at the top.

Anyone else see it and if you’ve had identical twins had a similar early scan? Am I just imagining it? Could it be a shadow?

I have another scan next week so will update!

That looks like a singleton to me

No, you’re looking at the yolk sac and where it’s attached to the uterine wall. The yolk sac turns into a human and the other bit becomes the umbilical cord.

That looks like where the placenta is starting to grow, I think there's just one but you never know!

Thanks ladies! Just thought the similar circle shape and the thin line dividing them may be hints towards twins but makes sense it probably being the placenta x

Sorry op, that doesn't look like my twin scan at all.

Thanks for replying! I’ve scoured the internet but can’t find much on what they’d look like at a 6 week scan, lots of pics of non identical but not much on identicals this early

Identical twins are really close together usually.
