A questions about 'nipples' in late pregnancy!

Hiya,

I noticed something a little strange about my nipples today. They seemed a little cracked (although not sore) but they had what looked like a few yellow spots on them, almost looked like a small yellow blister... anyway, I touched it and it appeared to not be a blister, but whatever it was just kind of came away leaving a little hole. It wasn't sore or anything. Not sure if I should have messed with it or not...

Anyone else had this??!

It could be colostrum coming out and just drying? This happened to me quite a lot near the end of pregnancy.

Oh I hope so, I am 38 weeks so was hoping it would be just something like this...!

I will check with m/w next time I see her though.

I have had this too at 30 weeks.

Mine all are the same, I have also had the dried colosturm also. Mine have been leaking since 20wks...Grrrr

The holes are the 'milky holes' your nipples are like a watering can head.

as others have said- this is your colostrum leaking a bit. get used to weird things happening to your boobs in the early days of bfing (assuming that's what you are planning to do...)
