Braxton hicks & pressure!?

Hey guys,
I'm 18+3 and last night I started getting what I believe to be Braxton Hicks. I thought it was too early to feel these but they were quite strong and fairly frequent for about an hour. They wore off, and I woke up this morning with a bit of a sore uterus-area but nothing else.
In the car in the way to work I felt a strange pressure in my cervix area.
I'm now cramping a bit but the pressure feeling comes and goes. No other symptoms, no fluid leaking etc.
Is this a cause for concern do you think?
I've text and called my midwife, but she hasn't got back to me yet.
I'm hoping it's just normal pregnancy stuff, it's been a decade since I was last in this position so I can't remember if it's normal.

Im trying not to panic. Any personal experiences, knowledge or advice is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

@millennialprobs Was it definitely BH and not baby moving? Worth checking with your midwife, hopefully they will get back to you soon

@2mumlife I definitely think BH as it was fully tightening for about 30 secs and then slowly loosening again, only my front lower abdomen. When the baby moves, it feels like tiny little "pops", it doesn't impact my whole tummy yet.
The cramping has worn off more now but my uterus feels incredibly tender. Thank you for your message :)

@millennialprobs Did your midwife get back to you? I would have though BH would be more unusual this early on, but maybe not?

@2mumlife hello sorry for the delay! She never got back to me so in the end I contacted triage! I went to the hosp and they checked the heartbeat which was fine and they suggested paracetamol for the BH. They said the BH was normal and they actually start at around 8wks, but we don't feel them that early. She said the intensity of them was probably brought on by stress and dehydration.

I'm now 21 weeks and everything is going smoothly again☺️ thank you for your message.

That's interesting they start so early! I never experienced them with my first pregnancy to be honest. Glad everything is going ok for you :)
