I don't think anyone can reassure you without knowing details of what was seen at the scan.
If you are really worried would you consider getting a private anomaly scan this weekend?

So it's says slightly ill defined cavum which may be due to cpc I have no idea what it means? I think I'm going to book one

Didn’t you ask them what it means?

They didn't say much which I said what happens if its not normal she just looked at me and said try not to worry which is somewhat reassuring but it ain't in the same sense cause why would I have to go back if they wasn't concerned I feel like they left me with nothing atm.

Hi OP

I’m sorry you’re worried. I would have felt the same. I have googled it and cpc means choroid plexus cysts which are found in 1-2% of healthy babies’ brains and resolve on their own. A very small number of babies with these may have something else causing them, but remember your notes say ‘may be caused by’ - they haven’t actually seen any.

Try to plan some things to help you pass the next two weeks. It’s most likely nothing to worry about. You can contact your midwife or the hospital for reassurance.

Hi
I’ve just done some quick research for you, based on what I can find it is a structure in the brain that should be a certain measurement. If that measurement is off they will want to rescan in however many weeks time. From what I’m reading the majority of the time it resolves itself. You must be really worried but there really is nothing you can do until your next scan. If you do want to book a private scan please make sure it’s with a doctor of foetal medicine not just any clinic as many of them have no medical professionals to give you any advice x
