Bleeding

GUYS?!? Is bleeding normal. I had brown discharge for a few weeks, around a week or two but today i wiped and there was blood that look kind of reddish and now i've got cramps too. Is this normal?!

Please help im worried

Some women do bleed during pregnancy and go on to have their baby with no issues, but you do need to get checked out.
How pregnant are you? If early then Google the early pregnancy unit for your area, there should be a number to contact them, if you are under the MW then call the numbers you have for their out of hours service.

@TeenGirl2024 it’s defanetly not normal , you need to get checked out . Bleeding is coming from somewhere , so there is a problem somewhere . Normally there should be no bleeding at all in pregnancy . But I do know some people do have spotting abd go on to have healthy pregnancy’s but more often than not , bleeding doesn’t sound good . I hope you get checked out soon and baby is ok !

i'm appprowching 7 weeks and i'm not sure. I was going to go to GP tomorrow. Am i better going to EMW??

The GP isn’t going to be able to do much, you need a scan. Phone the EPU.

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF OR WHEN EARLY PREGNANCY UNITS CLOSE??

Hi @TeenGirl2024 I’ve had bleeding in successful pregnancies, and bleeding that has ended in pregnancy loss. It’s very hard to say what bleeding means for you.

EPUs have different opening days and times, but very few I know of are open on Sundays. You’d be best off Googling or sharing your location as others on here who live in a similar area may be able to advise. Good luck x

I had bleeding in my pregnancies and it was fine. It has to be checked out though. Call your EPU
