When did everyone get their MATB1 form? If my midwife tells me to pick my MATB1 form up from the GP, can my mum or friend pick it up for me as I won't be in town? Has anyone has this before?

You get given it at one of your scans, think it's your 12 week one

I had to end up phoning to ask for mine as the midwife at my 20 week appointment forgot to give me it. My mum collected it from the community midwives office on my behalf as she works nearby. There were no issues with her collecting for me

In my area it's normal to get it between 20-24 weeks.

You have to be over 20 weeks pregnancy but yes a relative can pick it up if it’s left at the GP

I got mine at my 24 week appointment, I think you can't get it until 20 weeks

Over 20 weeks, usually from midwife.

Either your 20 week scan or the 24 wk midwife appt. If you need it sooner, contact your midwife and they will usually do one up for you to pick up

I got mine at the 24 week midwife appointment

IgoogledYOLO · 07/06/2024 20:54

My MW appt where I'd get it was after the date to give it to my employer.
I phoned and she had it ready for me to collect the following day. Don't be scared to ask if you need it, MWs are lovely.

I got mine at the 24 week midwife appointment

*25 week

I asked for it at my first midwife appointment after my 20 week scan and she did it then and there for me. Previous pregnancy, during COVID, it was to be collected at the GP surgery desk as midwives were working out of there

I got mine from my GP at 24 weeks. I was there for a routine check and asked if I could get the MATB1 while I was there and he did it there and then for me.
