Extra fluid seen in growth scan? At 36 weeks (large baby)

Hello,
I've just had my 3rd growth scan today, I'm 36 weeks my c section is booked at 39 weeks. The baby is measuring above 97th percentile, had bloods done about a month ago and they were clear so no gestational diabetes. The sonographer said this time there was extra fluid (something about 9 and it's usually 3/4 at this stage?) I suspect they're going to send me to triage again Sad
Has anyone else had this and what does it mean? She said it can happen with larger babies, worrying now Shock as my family are going away tomorrow for 2 weeks and my husband is going away on a business trip for 5 days from Sunday so will be on my own with my 2 children, panicking if this can cause early labour or if they'll do my c section early?

I had extra fluid picked up at around 36 weeks, polyhydramnios, they just said that if waters break to go straight to the hospital due to risk of cord prolapse, otherwise they also predicted a big baby, I was induced at 39 weeks due to that, my age and other factors, she arrived at 39+5 weighing 7lbs 10oz

I have polyhydramnios too, I had 10.5cm at a scan last week at 34 weeks. They've booked me in for another scan at 38 weeks where she said if it goes over 12cm they might look to give me my section early.

They didn't seem too worried and are waiting 4 weeks between scans for me and I'm only a week behind you so hopefully that might put your might at ease a little
