This is driving me barmy, if I try and sit still I just cannot, I just feel sooo fidgety. It's wierd I feel like I need to stretch all the time, or stand up and pace around the room. I honestly feel like I'm gritting my teeth all the time too, how odd is that?!

I've heard of restless leg syndrome, but I appear to have a restless person syndrome going on here.

It's not even nesting, it's just being totally unable to relax. Dunno how I"ll sleep tonight!

Has anyone else had this? It's normal to be impatient I think, but this feels beyond even that. Arrggh!

You are very normal don't worry but you need to rest as much as you can as giving birth is exhausting!
I'm the opposite..I'm sluggish and exhausted and yes I dread going to bed every night as that's when the tightening starts and its so uncomfortable. I was like you with my first so every pregnancy is different. It will be over soon and you will have your wonderful baby.. I'm due 25th April..what about you?

Hi girls, I am also 38 weeks preg and I am longing for the 21st April, I have to say, although many people say 'enjoy the baby while his inside as you won't get any rest after' I just feel bored with the pregnancy, and want to meet him so much and let all the fun begin!

I'm due 17th April, day before my birthday! I'm due to be induced on the 21st April if baby doesn't arrive by then.

I feel like I'm absolutely buzzing with energy, which is insane as I was up all night with my 3 yr old daughter with a sick bug, and when I say all night, I really mean that. I think I must have had 3 or poss 4 hrs sleep - slept curled in a little ball at the end of her bed with potty nearby to catch puke. Was changing sheets at 3am. I hope I don't go into labour today, cos although I feel full of energy, I suspect it is just adrenaline and hormones.

Yep, will all be over soon! Can't wait to meet my baby!
