35 weeks and so tired I’m teary all the time

Just looking for words of encouragement. 35 weeks with a toddler, still working, so utterly exhausted despite lots of help from DH, feeling like I’m barely surviving. Mat leave coming soon but feeling like I won’t make it until then. Feeling teary at all times and in need of words of support. Dreaming of being alone for 48 hours…

Oh it's hard isn't it! You're so close. Just keep clinging to the fact you won't be pregnant soon and will be able to get comfortable and sleep on your back and put your socks on without panting. Best of luck.

Oh I had this around a similar point, it did stop after a week or two unless I was particularly exhausted.. which it sounds like you are!
is there anything you can get help with or cut back on to give you time to rest?
Is there anyone to take toddler for an afternoon? Or a kind friend or relative that may do some cleaning or washing for you, or any way you can make your work load a bit lighter in your last few weeks
if not, it won’t be long now. Just try get to bed as early as you can, do as little as possible and sleep if you’re able to.

How long until you go on Maternity leave? Can you go earlier or take a week off sick? Sounds like you desperately need some rest. I'm a few weeks behind you and I'm struggling without having a toddler to look after x

If you take a week off sick at this point for anything vaguely baby related it will trigger the start of maternity anyway so be careful

Just dragging myself to the end… DC1 and DH caught a bug as well so I think it’s just teeth gritting and hoping for a nice gift or massage at the end of the tunnel and for baby to take their time before they make an appearance!
