Muslins, you can never have enough! 😁

A night light so you can feed and change baby in the night without fully waking them by putting the main light on. Won't be a waste of money as they will still be using it as a toddler.

I'd also recommend disposable pants to begin with, better than just the pads.

I never once used a muslin. I don't know if they're still made now, but the best thing I had when my daughter was a baby was a Sangenic nappy disposal bin. It was wonderful and I pushed a nappy in the top, and it was automatically wrapped up. It held several days of used nappies without any smell at all.

Baby bath - waste of money! As are nappy bins which are also not environmentally friendly. Likewise baby wash and lotion - totally unnecessary.

We had the Shnuggle baby bath and loved it! Used it almost daily up until they were stable enough to sit in the bath.

We bought the Korbell nappy bin. The bags are biodegradable, so although not perfect are a more environmentally friendly option.

Second the lanolin nipple cream. It's a must if planning to BF!

I almost never used muslins - just didn't have a sicky or drooly baby. My sister used millions, so see what kind of baby you get

Schuggle baby bath was great, so that you only need a bit of water instead of using the whole tub. Also it sort of holds baby up, so you have a but more freedom with your hands

I'm panicking now that my list is too long! We have an Excel spreadsheet (Dh loves a spreadsheet!) but it's on the laptop, so trying to think of some off the top of my head...

I see you have included baby bottles on your list so I'd suggest you include a baby bottle sterliser. The UV Steriliser with Dryer made life easier for us! The portable ones are very helpful too when on-the-go.

Also, are you planning to breastfeed/express breastmilk? If so, I recommend breast milk storage bags and nursing pads. For the nursing pads, I personally like those ones in bamboo material as I find them breathable and doesn't irritate my skin.
