So me and DH had sex tonight, and I’m now 19 weeks pregnant and quite big !
anyways he had me bent over the sofa back behind me if that makes sense ( tmi I know ) but my back started hurting quite a lot, I suffer with lots of back ache in this pregnancy! And now I’m sat here stressed to the max that I could have hurt baby by bending ???!!!

Nope. Your baby is fine. But for the sake of your back, maybe try a less awkward position next time. Congratulations by the way!

your baby will be fine. Try not to catastrophise about it . But do.try to protect your back of course by being sensible if you are prone to back issues.

The baby is fine! Wait until you are 49 weeks and trying to have sex hoping it will bring on labor! 😉

Thank you guys for making me feel better!
and to @SwordToFlamethrower no need to be rude love. Just so you know I am a scientist as a profession ironically and have studied enough biology books in my life.
I do not at all think the penis can touch the baby, that’s not what I even said? I was worried that by bending for that period of time i may have hurt the baby, and on a platform such as this, there’s no need to attack someone for asking a question.

Baby will be fine. Just protect yourself. Ligaments and the lot are looser spring pregnancy because your body is producing relaxin. Also, your centre of gravity will change.

Have a look at safe sex positions during the second trimesters as well as the third if you have gained a lot of weight already.

Baby is protected in the sack but better to find a comfy position going forward.
