Brown spotting 9 weeks - reassure me

I've had no cramping so was shocked to find brown discharge when I went to the toilet this afternoon. It's so light but obviously it's made me paranoid that this is the beginning of a miscarriage. Any reassurance/experiences/advice?

I had implantation bleeding and then was in and out of hospital with bleeding right the way through. Mine seemed to be related to thrush & group b strep. Was induced early, really positive birth no tears or nothing, and my little 7 month chunk is on my boob as I type. Contact your hospital MAU and hopefully they'll give you an early scan x

I had this too around 9 weeks, but everything was fine, fwiw brown blood is old blood. Best of luck with your pregnancy 🥰

Hi, any chance you have cervical erosion? I have pink/brown discharge almost every time I have a no 2 ( sorry tmi) or do anything slightly strenuous. I had an early scan and was told nothing to worry about unless it's filling a pad or combined with cramps x

I had brown discharge on and off in early pregnancy, it's normal. If it turns in to red blood and/or you get a lot of pain that's apparently when there could be an issue but just brown discharge on its own I was told is not a concern. I'm 37 weeks now and all good.
