heavy discharge sign of early labour?

I'm 40 + 1 and desperate to go into labour! For the last few days I've had a heavy white discharge which has been heavier since yesterday. No sign of blood, though. Does anyone know whether this is linked to early labour? I've also got mild backache and nausea but sadly no contractions yet :-(

sounds like the early signs IME

Not as far as I know, just one of the many joys of pregnancy. Women sometimes mistake it for their waters going tho if it is heavy enough.
