Hi everybody
quick advice please .. my last period was on the 1th of May and had protected sex on the 4th .. my period was due on the 28th of may but I am two days late . Took a test today and yesterday and it was negative. I have always been regular but I thought that in the eventuality that I was pregnant it would have shown already ?

I got mine 3 or 4 days late and it was SUPER faint at that point so sometimes it just doesn't show up quite as soon as you think

It really depends on when you ovulate because if you have intercourse around the ovulation window then you're likely to conceive. Do you track your periods? It can be easier to know roughly when you ovulate if so. And that can even still sometimes be inaccurate so it can happen where a positive result comes in much later than what you thought it might! ✨ I had 9 months of nothing with regular intercourse around ovulation window & then finally boom! I had my time! 🩷 Praying you get your wish soon 🌟 I know it feels like a long wait at that time!

Hi lovely 🥰 no it wasn’t it was on my 4th day of my period and it has been more than 22 days ( husband was away for work ) since then . My question is that after 23 days you might get a positive ?

It's not impossible to conceive whilst you're on your period but it's much more likely around ovulation (I think they say around day 15 of cycle but it really does vary for everyone!) I'm not too sure on exact days since intercourse and how long the possibility is open for but because it was on your last period I would imagine it would be a longer wait because you'd essentially have to wait until you're overdue on your next period! Some people don't get a positive until 7 days late either because of the pregnancy hormone taking its time to show on a test. 💞💞
