Am I pregnant or a chemical pregnancy?

Hello all, so Monday I did the strip tests, they came back very faint positive, but today i did these tests and they’ve all come back negative? I’m soooo confused!
I also did an ovulation strip test today, there was a very faint line on that, what do you all think?? 🤔 x

Mondays ones are negative too. You're not pregnant.

Do you know how many days post ovulation you are?

Give it another 7 days - I was convinced I was going to be pregnant but kept having negatives. Then a week later I got my positive. You might not be, but at least then you'd know for sure!

And I am 8 days passed ovulation.

Yeah Mondays ones do show positive. But that would have been 6DPO which is super early, I think too early really.
Even today at 8DPO it’s too early for most people for a result to show. I would test again in a few days time.

Thank you all for your replies 🙏 I will test again at the weekend, I will give it a few days with out testing, I did also do these ones Monday/Tuesday. There is a very very faint line on them 🤷🏻‍♀️ but as I said, today's ones are all negative. Xx

That's how my initial positive looked it was so faint that I thought I was making it up 🙈 and it was way later than I thought too I must've ovulated later and not known!

But you're only 8 dpo.

It's much too soon to think this might be a chemical pregnancy.

If you miss your period, take another test.

TheShellBeach, yes very true, I just felt very sick and lower backache early this week, so thought I'd do a test, and saw the lines. But I will try test again soon. X

I can actually see vvvvf lines on the tests you did on Monday.

I think Monday's are positive and that the next tests are negative. Hope for the best but prepare for the worst OP as it may be a chemical pregnancy. I've had two.

The faint lines I would have said 100% pregnant as that's how it starts early on
However negative tests the next day is not a good sign and makes me wonder about chemical. Sorry 😔

Yes I was actually pregnant I just couldn't believe it at first because it was so faint! Each day got a little less faint until it was clear 🥰 I'm now 13 weeks xxx

What time of day are you doing them? Early on, if you test first thing in the morning you are more likely to get a positive test because the hormones are more concentrated....

The positive ones were actually at 11pm at night, and they shown the lines till morning when I took the picture, I did the ones today early when I woke up around 7am. X

Ah that's a bit strange. Maybe wait a few days and test again. It's so hard!!

8 days is really too early to test, I agree they do look positive but that would have only been 6dpo so I don't think they're reliable. Don't give up hope until your period arrives (if it does!) but I would wait a few days before testing again

I agree, definitely too early, I just felt sick, and had backache, so thought I'd test, and saw the lines on the first set of tests I did, now there all coming back as negative. But yes I shall wait and test again in a week. X
