Hello mommies . I went for a private early scan at 5 weeks and the sonographer said there was a visable sac with yolk sac and to come
back in a weeks time . I went back after a week and she said she can now see a heart beat but then we discovered a new sac next to it that was definitely not there last week she said it’s another sac with yolk sac. When she did the first scan she looked for a while checked my ovaries checked for cysts made sure the sac had implanted in the right place but now a new sac and yolk sac has formed . She has asked me to come back in a weeks time to check on the second sac but I’m worried .. has this happened to anyone before . She said It could be twins and it could just be that the second one had implanted a little later from a second fertilised egg . Any ideas
