What were your 12 week blood results? Is this a worry?

I’ve just had my results back from my 12 week scan which went well last week. They have come back at low risk for all trisonomies which is a relief after my last pregnancy. But the midwife commented that my HCG is low which has got me spiralling.

just wondered if anyone else has been in this position before and what happened, for reassurance?

my HCG was 0.32 (I believe it’s meant to be around 1 and my Papp-A was 1.32.

Interested to know if anyone has similar to me.

thanks!

I was told that hcg values alone (aside from very early pregnancy of course) mean nothing other than in the context of the combined screen. I really wouldnt worry since you've been given a low risk result x

@Chasingbaby2 thank you that’s reassuring. The midwife didn’t sound fussed but it’s so hard to tell sometimes she just said “try not to worry” which made me think why would you say that x

I'm not even sure why she mentioned it, needless worry! There's a massive range of normal HCG. I hope you can relax a little x
