32 weeks not feeling right

32 weeks tomorrow.

I've had bad lower back pain and on and off cramps for 24 hours. Been opening my bowels a lot, and feel sick. Every so often when baby moves it feels really uncomfortable and I generally just don't feel right.

Is this normal at this gestation? I don't want to worry my husband and we're supposed to be going to a family bbq this afternoon which I don't want to ruin either.

Any advice would be appreciated xx

I would phone triage at your maternity hospital and ask for advice. Best to run it by them and see what they suggest.

You can't keep this from your husband - he needs to be prepared mentally.
It may be that you pop into hospital today just to check, it may be a sign that labour is starting - remember this is all maybes.
It maybe you have a tummy bug.

but you do have to let your husband know, esp if he was thinking of having any alcohol at the bbq ? as he may need to drive.

you won't ruin the bbq, they are family. prob the best place to be - with family. for reassurance/distraction.

I would definitely get checked out. In all 7 pregnancies I opened my bowels a lot in the day before giving birth. Worth checking and then go to the family event later

The family bbq is not a priority.

Ring your midwife.

If you don't feel right go get checked why suffer and worry in silence x

This happened to me at 27 weeks and I was in preterm Labour. Nothing come of it and I’m now 32+5 but best to get it checked
